The School of Management was established in March 1985. After 20 years development, the School of Management has evolved into an influential school of NPU with systematic disciplines, and rich teaching resources. The School has become an important education center for management in China. It is eligible to offer degrees in the discipline of management science and engineering, including one doctor degree program, six master degree programs, two professional master programs, and five undergraduate programs. The School has run a very close tie on an extensive scale with Xi’an Aircraft International, Space Technology Group, Chinese First Airplane Design and Research Institute, Changqing Oil Corp etc. The International Project Management Research Institute of NPU is attached to the School.

The School is staffed with an excellent faculty of 70 members with high academic level and rich experience in teaching and research, including 13 full professors and 30 associate professors. The school has a total enrollment of 1,500 students. Since the foundation of the School, more than 2500 students have graduated from the School. Meanwhile, the school has provided the training programs for over 8000 entrepreneurs and managers from all over the country. At present, there are 721 undergraduates, 935 postgraduates, and 90 Ph. D. candidates in the School of Management.
